Slow Motion Hummingbirds 8 Casio EX-F1 upscaled to 720p +HD
Really interesting footage of colorful hummingbirds hunting and feeding in slow motion and HD.
This installment features some amazingly colorful irridescent males of several species; Allen’s, Black-Chinned, and Anna’s hummingbirds, up close and with their head-dresses all lit up, as well as some very cool shots of females hunting (and catching!) small bugs in mid-air!
HD footage shot with a Canon HF100 HD camcorder (note the strange wing bending effects are an artifact of the HD camera’s high speed shutter, NOT the birds’ wings themselves). Slow motion footage filmed with a Casio EX-F1 high speed camera at 300 and 600fps rates.
The music is “Intro” from the “Random” CD by Technician (yours truly). MP3 downloads and CDs available at the Technician website: technician.jcmdi.com

Magnificent!
I think that this video is more than awesome!
Indeed we need to make some big changes to keep what’s left… Thanks so much for the view and kind words! =)
The nature of biodiversity on our planet is amazing. I hope we can awaken the higher powers from blind greed to see the beauty it all, before it’s been broken beyond repair. Love you video. Great Work.
Thanks a bunch for watching! =)
Wow! This is awesome. :)
Most all of this was shot with the F1… 300fps and 600fps recording speeds were used. The upscaling process is fiendishly simple… just load the clips into Windows Movie Maker, edit the move as you like, and then render the final moie in 1280x720p :-) WMM does the rest!
Glad you enjoyed – thanks so much for stopping by! =)

@lotsofgametime Some Natives believe the wee birds carry the spirits of the ancestors and they come sometimes to comfort you. I have had chickadees sit with me on a log. Very humbling.
